Services

The Services page in the Verabooking Admin Portal lets you manage the offerings and amenities available to guests. The main dashboard shows each service as a card with its pricing, charge frequency, and active status.

Service Types​

Choose one of these types when creating or editing a service:

  • Room Add-ons: Services linked to a guest's stay, such as breakfast, dinner, or a rollaway bed.
  • Standalone Services: Offerings guests can book separately from a room reservation, such as taxi service, sightseeing tours, airport pickup, bonfires, or birthday decorations.

Pricing Configuration​

For each service, configure how its price is charged and how often the charge applies:

For example, a South Goa Sightseeing Tour could be a standalone service charged per unit, once. Breakfast could be a room add-on charged per guest, per night.

Tax Calculation​

  • Room Add-ons: The service uses its parent room's tax rate. If the room is taxed at 18% GST, the add-on uses that same rate rather than a separate service tax configuration.
  • Standalone Services: Assign the applicable rate from your configured Tax Rates, such as an 18% standard rate.
